Privacy

• No accounts and no cookies.
• Your approximate location (your state and ZIP code) comes from our host Cloudflare's own lookup of your connection, with no other service involved. It prices the fuel cost and sets the used-car searches on that page, and it isn't stored or logged.
• A ZIP code you type is sent in the form, never in our URLs, used for that page's used-car searches and then dropped. When you open one of those searches, that site gets the ZIP in its link.
• A VIN you type is decoded on our server with NHTSA's vPIC data, then dropped. It isn't stored, logged by us or sent to anyone, and it never goes in a URL.
• Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. Cloudflare, our host, handles every request under its own privacy policy; we keep no logs of our own.
• Links to other sites (NHTSA, and later used-car searches) take you to them, where their own privacy policies apply.
